Our Week

It has been a busy week trying to get things ready for Emma's party.  I can't believe she is about to be two.  She is such a big girl and any signs of a baby are quickly disappearing.  I am a little annoyed that it is suppose to be 100 the day of her party, especially when we were in the 80's last weekend and we are suppose to be back in the 80's by Tuesday.  Oh well.  What are you going to do?
Not only have been getting things ready for her party, we are also in the middle of retraining our dogs.  For some reason, they have decided to start peeing in the house.  Gross.  I know.  That on top of getting barking complaints, phone calls were made to rescue groups.  Before we decided to surrender them, we decided to try one last thing and retrain them.  One of Robert's customers is a dog trainer, and basically they are on lock down.  They stay in their kennel and only come out to go outside and go to the bathroom.  We have also put them on a meal schedule.  They use to be able to eat whenever they wanted, so we are wondering if they had too much freedom and lost sight of who is in charge and the rules.  This is only our second day, and the trainer said that it could take months.  Fun, Fun.
Here are a couple of pics from our week so far!

After her nap, Emma gets to watch Mickey Mouse and have a snack.  This time she wanted to bear and bunny to sit with her and this is how she lined them up.

Then she wanted to take a picture of them.  I have no idea where she gets that from!!

Emma loves to be outside, so she is loving taking the dogs out every couple of hours to go potty.  It is also a great time to talk about where the dogs go potty and where Emma goes potty.  She tells me that she goes peepee on her princess potty, but she still refuses to sit on it.  When it was time to take the dogs out she gathered her purse and head band and off she went!

I thought she would have fun playing in the sprinklers, but not so much.  She liked it from the side, but she didn't like when she stood in front of it and it got her.  For some reason she wouldn't move back to the side, so sprinkler time was short lived!

The almost two year old!  She is still a tough one to get to smile for photos.  The new thing I am trying is saying "show me how you smile for pictures".  It works great in the car, but when I get the camera out this is what she does....

But sometimes I can get that cute smile!!
