36 Weeks

It is so hard to believe that we are at the 36 week mark.  Things are going well.  I had a Doctor Appt. today and I was hoping to have lots of news, but the appointment was very uneventful.  We will start checking to see if there has been any progress starting next week.
I have been feeling well for the most part.  I have started having some swelling in my feet and hands, and having some muscle pain, but I am sure it all just means that things are getting ready for Riley to get here.
I am a little more anxious this time around to have her hurry up and get here.  We have a lot going on in the next couple of weeks with mom starting back at work, Emma starting school, and Robert still being very busy at work.  But I know it will all work out and be just fine.  We have lots of people on stand by, and I think when I pack my hospital bag, I will also pack one for Emma, just so we are prepared.
I think even though she has no idea what she is in, Emma is also very anxious for Riley to get here.  She asks me every day if she is here yet, and sometimes even peeks in her crib to see if she is laying in there.
Hopefully I will have lots of updates next week!

Back to the Splash Pad

On Friday, Emma and I met up with Amanda, Aidan, and Abby at the splash pad.  The kids had a great time playing, and Amanda and I had a great time catching up.  I can't believe how big Abby has gotten!  She is 6 months now and so cute!  It is hard to believe that the next time we see them, Riley will probably be here!

Random

I know things have been pretty quite on the blog here lately.  We are doing well and excited for Riley Jane to make her debut.  The crib is set up, and other then a few of the necessities, I think we just about have everything we need.
I am definitely done being pregnant!  I had all of these plans to do all of these projects with Emma and nothing has happened.  I don't know if it is the heat or being at the end of this pregnancy, other then organizing, not much has happened!
A couple of weeks ago, I did get this science experiment set up for her.  I found it on Pinterest and she loved it.  We covered a pan with baking soda, and then mixed food coloring and vinegar together.  She loved watching it bubble up!
