Meet JD and Brandy

JD and Brandy are our Miniature Pinscher's who just turned a year old. For the most part they are good puppies who are pretty cute and they know it. I have to admit, they are kind of spoiled and half the time I think they think they are human. (notice how Brandy is resting her head on the arm rest?!) They are getting better when it comes to visitors. We have gotten the barking down to the first 5 minutes that visitors are here!

JD and Brandy came from the same litter, so they really are brother and sister. Even though they came from the same litter, they are very different in appearance. Brandy has the typical thin body/long legs that you see in min pins. JD on the other hand is shaped like a brick. He is a little shorter and VERY solid. He has been shaped like this since we got them at 8 weeks of age. We didn't really think much of it until the last time we took them to the vet. JD weighed 13.7 lbs and Brandy weighed 8.7! They eat the same food, eat the same amount of treats, and they play together all the time...JD is just built different. But this past weekend we might have a different explanation as to why JD is our fat boy. As you can see in the pictures, Brandy is playing with her toys and JD is sitting (like a person) just watching. Maybe JD isn't as active as we thought!

Hey Everyone!



Robert has always talked about having our own family web page. Since I would be the one to update it, and I know nothing about web pages, I thought this would be the next best thing. Today is also the perfect day to start since it is exactly 3 months since we got married....

And 5 months since we bought our first house!

So, check back from time to time. We will be updating all the exciting things that come with owning a house, being married, and everything in between! Enjoy!
