What a busy, fun, and tiring couple of days it has been! Halloween started for us on Friday when I took Emma around in her costume to pass out cookies. I think all the driving, and getting in and out of the car was a little much for her. By the time we got to my mom's work, she was pretty much done with the whole thing and we didn't even get her full costume on her. I am hoping next year with her being a year older she will do better, if not, we might have to split our "parade" into a couple of days!
Saying hi to Aunt Christine and Aiden (You can already see on her face she isn't a big fan of this!)
With Grandpa and Grandma
At my mom's work. This is the only time she was somewhat happy. She looked like such a big girl sitting in Grandma's chair!
On Halloween, we decided to be a little more comfortable. Josh and Christine came over with Anna and Aiden and we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. A lot of the neighbors were out in their drive ways and some houses went all out with lights, spooky sounds, and other effects. The only thing that we had to deal with that I don't remember from when I went trick-or-treating, was there were a lot of cars. It seemed like a lot of people were driving their kids from house to house and it was a race to see how quickly they could get down the street. So we really had to watch for that.
Even Josh and Christine got dressed up! Anna was Wonder Woman, Aiden was a football player, and Josh and Christine were Cleopatra and....I can't remember who her love interest was... Marc Anthony maybe?
This was Emma's idea of trick-or-treating! She missed a nap today so she was already pretty tired by this point.
Our favorite house by far. They had so many lights. But I had to turn on the flash so you could see some of the details.
Emma didn't make it!
All the goodies. One house even did Pop Tarts!
It was a fun night! I am already trying to figure out Emma's costume for next year!!!
