Anna and Anya (Matt and Kristen's youngest) hanging out on the step.
It took a little while for Anna to get used to the water. She pretty much hung out on the first step, climbed the water fall, and ran around the deck "saving" people!
Saving Uncle Bobby
The boys loved having Robert throw them off the edge of the pool. Then it progressed into him throwing them off the rock jump. And then you can guess what happened next!

Anna
Anna finally decided that she would go into the water. But she made Robert promise that he would not leave her, not let go, that he wouldn't dunk her, and they wouldn't go under the waterfall. By hour 3 of being in the pool she was a little more about being in the water and she kept showing me how she could paddle across the first step!
I think Robert was the biggest kid of all. Yes, that's him going down the slide head first! And yes, that's him sitting on top of the water fall drinking a Capri Sun!We heard that the fireworks were going to start at 9. So as we were getting the kids out of pool at about 8, a big storm came through. It got so windy that some of the patio furniture wound up in the pool. We thought there was no way that they were going to shoot off the fireworks with the storm, so we let the kids play inside for a little bit. As we were packing things up and getting ready to head home, it was about 9:30. When we walked out the front door we could kind of see the fire works over the orange trees. The problem is, it was kind of hard for Anna to see them, and partly due to a lack of a nap she started freaking out thinking they were bombs. (When they lived in North Carolina they were close enough to the Navy Base that they could hear them practicing) Robert picked her up and in less then 2 minutes she was passed out asleep!
Everyone at the Green house is very tired today. Robert had to work today, I'm getting things back in order from the past two days, and the puppies haven't come out of their kennel all day!
