Down on Grandma Mary's Farm

There is a song we sing at Emma's library class called "Down on Grandmpa's Farm".  We could easily change the words to "Down at Grandma Mary's House" and still be able to sing about all the animals!  Grandma Mary has horses, donkeys, goats, cats, dogs, a cow, a chicken, and a zorse (mix of zebra and horse) all at her house!  We decided it was time to take Emma out to the farm!
Emma loved being able to run around and play with the dogs.  She did better with "bigger" animals then I expected.  She did want to see them, and walked by herself, but she didn't want to touch them.  By the end of the day, she did feed them some carrots.  I am sure it won't be long that she will be wanting to ride them!!

The Zorse.  I guess in California, it is very common to cross breed horses and zebras.  You can see the zebra stripes really well on her back leg.
