Library Christmas Party and The Food Allergy Walk

Every year, the library that Emma goes to story time at, holds a Christmas Party where the kids can decorate cookies, hear carols, and has a special night time story time with their teacher, Miss Tara.  For some reason, I only have these two photos of Emma decorating her cookie, but we had a great time.  My mom was even able to meet us after her work to hear the story and meet the famous Miss Tara!

The first weekend of December was the Food Allergy Walk.  It is hard to believe that coming up later this month, we will be done with our first year of a peanut allergy.  I am happy to say that not only have we not had to use the epi pen, but we also have been able to avoid a need for Benadryl.  We will go back some time at the start of next year, to get another report of what her levels are doing.  Hopefully not continuing to go up!
But on to the walk!  It was a COLD morning, but we had a great time.  When I asked Emma why we were walking she would say "because I have a peanut allergy, and want it to go away".  Thank you so much to all who walked, all who donated, and all who sent messages.  We appreciate it so much!  Mark your calendars for next year!  The walk will be December 1!

Baxter (Diamondbacks), the Gorilla (the Suns). Howler (the Coyotes), and Sparky (ASU) were all there.  Emma wanted to see them, but only from afar!
Shelly wanted to get a photo of her and the Gorilla for her nephew Noah.
