More Swim Time at Grandpa's!!!

Butterflies!

A couple of weeks ago we headed out to the new Butterfly Wonderland.  It is an atrium where hundreds of butterflies fly freely.  It was right at nap time, so Riley wasn't too impressed, and Emma didn't love the idea of them flying in her face.  But if you ask her now, she will tell you that she loved it!!

10 Months!

Back in June, Miss Riley turned 10 months!  I can't believe we are in double digits and her first birthday is just around the corner!!

Riley Jane is fully mobile and does a run crawl to get where she wants to go.  She is using her sippy cup exclusively, and I think I can actually throw away the bottles!  She continues to love her big sister and is proving to be a daddy's girl!

Swimming

Earlier in the month we took the girls swimming at Grandpa's house.  It was Riley's first time in the pool, and the first time in a while for Emma.  Riley took right to the water, even kicking herself around the pool while we held her.  Emma on the other hand, took a little time to "warm up" to the water, but by the end of the day, she was jumping in from the edge.
