We Are Heading to our New House this Weekend!!!

11 Months and Doc Check Up

Since Miss Riley is about to be 1 year, I thought we better get her 11 month post up!!  She is growing like a weed and easily walking along furniture.  We expect her to walk any time!  Her top tooth is just starting to poke through, so it has made for a couple of long nights!  She is starting to love books and balls and will even play catch with herself.  She is clapping, laughing, and being silly!

Both girls went in for the check ups, and both girls are doing great.  Emma is 70% for her height, and 40% for her weight.  Riley on the other hand,  continues to be off the chart for her height and in the 95% for her weight!  She is only 10 inches shorter and 10lbs lighter then Emma!

There is a possibility that Riley has a tethered spinal cord.  She has a suspicious spot on her lower back and we will probably talk about getting an ultra sound at her 15 month appt.  If it does turn out to be tethered, then she will need surgery.  I am not quite going there yet in my mind, but also glad that I know a lot of the docs at PCH, plus my good friend Jessica works with a lot of these surgeons, and feel confident that if we have to go down that road, she will be in the best of care.
